We have been funded by the National Lottery to deliver music-making training sessions for carers of people living with dementia throughout 2019. There will be four blocks of sessions, each in a different location in the city. Each block comprises a focus group (so that carers can let us know what they would like to explore and develop), followed by two training sessions.

Block #1: Brooke Mead Extra Care Scheme, Albion Street, Brighton:

  • focus group: 3rd April, 2-3:30pm
  • training #1: 24th April, 2-4pm
  • training #2: 15th May, 2-4pm

The sessions are informal, supportive, and fun; they’re suitable for people of all abilities, including complete beginners.

All sessions are free to attend, though booking is essential: 01273 569096 / email emma@openstrings.co.uk
