  • Mondays 2-3:30pm Lavender House: 23rd January – 3rd April (NB: no session 13th March)

  • Fridays 10:45am-12:15pm Hop 50+: 3rd February – 7th April

In these fun, gentle and supportive sessions we: Sing Healthy Play Happy Sing Healthy Play Happy

• sing familiar and new songs together
• explore instruments and sounds
• make new friends
• move gently to music
• have fun!

Making music together is good for us! It lifts our spirits and helps us relax – it can really take us out of ourselves and give us a break, even for a short while.

“I love every moment. I hope these sessions go on for ever. They set you up for the week”

“I really enjoyed that. It’s a good idea to help people to communicate”

All sessions are free – come and try us out! No musical experience is necessary. NB: Pre-booking is essential.

Sing Healthy Play Happy is an Open Strings Music CIC project, commissioned by Brighton & Hove CCG. The sessions are facilitated by community musicians trained at Goldsmiths University of London & OPUS.
